Powered Aire™ door performance features

Superior performance is guaranteed by Powered Aire’s commitment to ongoing product development and innovative design enhancements.

  • Air leaves our exclusive positive seal nozzle at a 6 degree angle, eliminating the backwash component of conventional vertical nozzles and allowing the directional air foil vane to efficiently deflect the air stream to the optimum 20 degree discharge angle.

  • As well, our positive seal nozzles utilize a high efficiency discharge plenum to produce a smooth laminar flow which is over 90% uniform across the output surface.

The result is a continuous invisible barrier of air that effectively separates the environments on either side of the installation.

Units rated at maximum air velocities of over 4200 feet per minute and maximum air volumes of as much as 9600 cubic feet per minute are available, ranging from the gentle warm breeze of our door heater models to the powerful high velocity of our air curtains and insect control models.
