There are two main types of insect light traps (ILT's) to choose
from.
- Silent control systems utilize an ultraviolet (UV) light attractant to
capture flying insects on an adhesive board (glue board).
- Electronic fly killers
(EFK's) utilize UV light to attract flying insects
to an electrocuting grid; EFK's are also known as "zappers" or insect
electrocutors.
