| Dr. Moray Anderson 
|
Dr. Moray Anderson graduated at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Between 1977 and 1996, he was on the staff of the School of Biological Sciences,
University of Birmingham, England. In 1981-82 he spent a year on the Faculty of University
of California, Riverside Campus working in the Insect Physiology Division. Throughout
his time at University, he advised pest control companies, hospitals, public health
officials and other companies in the food industry on the health hazards of flying
insects.
In 1996 he joined the Killgerm Group as its Technical Director. Killgerm is
Europes largest distributor of public health pest control products. It is also a
major training organization, specializing in pest control in the food industry. |
| Alan R. Olsen 
|
Alan Olsen currently serves as Chief Entomologist for the US Food and Drug
Administration, where he has 25 years of experience dealing with food safety issues. His
work there has included 38 publications on entomology, food sanitation, and related
sciences. Among his contributions to the scientific literature are numerous studies on the
relationship between insect infestation and the transmission of food-borne illness. His
outstanding service with the agency has been recognized by the FDA Award of Merit for
scientific achievements in entomology (1982), and the National Performance Review HAMMER
award (Vice President Gore) (1997). Alans responsibilities with the FDA have
included the inspection of food processors and quality control laboratories, organizing
and administrating national scientific workshops, acting as a consultant to trade
associations and professional societies, and service on FDA policy committees. |
| Graham Sheppard |
Graham Sheppard is a chartered environmental health officer (the UK
equivalent of a public health inspector). On leaving the British Army, he worked for Trust
House Forte, the UKs foremost hotel group. He is currently the Head of Health and
Food Safety for the UK division of the Compass Group, the worlds largest catering
company. He is responsible for ensuring that food safety standards are met in catering
establishments in both the UK and continental Europe. |
| Dr. Claude Thomas

Dr. Claude Thomas is the Vice President of Research and Training at B
& W Sales and Marketing. On leaving Western Michigan University and the University of
California at Riverside, he began working in the pest control industry developing new
products. He was the Vice President of Sales and Research at B&G for 12 years. Following
a sabbatical at the Urban Entomology Research Center, Virginia Polytechnic Institute &
State University, he joined B & W as head of technical services, responsible for the
development of technical and training programs. |
| Richard Kammerling |
Richard Kammerling grew up in the food industry. His career spans more
than 30 years in providing technical sales support, developing new pest control
technologies and designing food safety and IPM programs. He regularly lectures at
meetings organized by the American Institute of Baking, colleges, universities, as well as
federal and state agencies. Part of his time is also devoted to in-house training and pest
management inspections. |
Scott Weisberg

Scott Weisberg is the Vice President of A-1 Exterminators in Lynn, MA, a
family owned pest control company active for the past forty-five years in Massachusetts
and New Hampshire. He is a member of the Massachusetts Industrial Advisory Council to
the Pesticide Board. A former president of the New England Pest Control Association, he
currently serves on the Government Affairs Committee.
His areas of interest include sales and government regulation of the pest control
industry. He has served on various committees for NPCA and is currently the Chair of the
Food Protection and Sanitation Committee. |
| Don Resetar |
Don Resetar has been involved in the pest control industry since 1961 and
has managed several regional and national firms during his career. In 1974 he founded Pest
Control Services, Inc. specializing in the food processing industry in the states of
Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a free lance writer and has been published in both Pest
Control Magazine and Pest Control Technology. He is the current chairman of the NPCA
